TETLab

" Dream it, make it real. "

TETLab intends to develop creative industries in İstanbul with İstanbul’s global competitive power in the medical technology field and increasing number of high-value products in the international area. It also aim to protect intellectual property rights, improve university – industry cooperation, and increase the number of academic entrepreneurs.

With TETLab, academics and students can actualize new and creative ideas in the medical sector and find opportunities to bring them to life. Participants will inform about designs, drawings, and production; the forthcoming ideas will be presented with problem analysis or offer solutions, and patent applications and prototypes will be made after all processes have been completed.

TETLab was founded with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency and is situated in Istanbul Faculty of Medicine within the IU Technology Transfer Application and Research Center, and has a high technological substructure. Our purpose is to find solutions to encountered difficulties in the medical and industrial sectors and to contribute to the creation of prototypes and utility models. In addition to the technological substructure in place, different ideas will come together in our laboratory atmosphere through a multidisciplinary working environment.

Training activities are continuing within TETLab including the “Applied Patent, Applied Projects Writing, and High Technology Medical Applications.”
